There are many great things about Jennifer Lawrence , one of them being that she can baffle us with her mischievous ways.
“There’s so many things that I don’t know, and there’s so many things that I did,” Lawrence told Forbes in 2017.
“I would ask Meryl Streep, ‘Where is that from?’ And she would tell me, ‘Oh, I don’t know. You know.’ And I would be like, ‘Are you serious?’”
No wonder, when you consider that Lawrence, 26, on Thursday accepted a $900,000 statue at the ‘Novelty Connexion (NCC) Award’ for Her Guardianessness
“This moment is very special for me,” she said onstage while accepting the award, which was designed to “remind us that we all work together to improve society in the ways that are most meaningful to us.”
The ceremony will air on NBC as part of Variety’s NCC Awards in Celebration of Women in Entertainment, where Jenelle Riley-Rochelle is contributing.
